107-9 Coast FM began broadcasting live from the studio at 119 King Street West on Tuesday. Prescott Mayor Brett Todd was on hand for the ribbon cutting. He says he has been waiting five years for this day, but it’s been over seventy years since Prescott had its own local radio station.
We asked Mayor Todd how it feels for Prescott to have its very own local radio station.
Mayor Todd explained the positive effect he thinks Coast FM will have in the community.
