Lanark, Leeds and Grenville Addictions and Mental Health thanks United Way for donation

The United Way of Leeds and Grenville has donated more than $40,000 to a local organization that offers counseling and mental health services to people in our region.

Lanark, Leeds and Grenville Addictions and Mental Health received the donation Thursday morning.

Jane Adams, a member of the organization, says the $43,000 will go towards improving direct care for people in our region.

“For example,” she says, “in the past, the money has supported client wellness opportunities, helping to achieve an improved level of health and personal growth.”

“We are grateful to all of the funders who support the work of our team,” he says.

“We value this partnership with the United Way as we work together to ensure our clients receive the right care, at the right time and in the right place.”
