If you or someone in your life spends a lot of time volunteering in our community, you have a chance to help them pay for gas with a series of giveaways this week.
The Volunteer Centre of St. Lawrence-Rideau, a Brockville-based organization that helps local nonprofits and other groups recruit, is giving away five $50 gas cards to “volunteer heroes” in our region.
The giveaways are celebrating National Volunteer Week, a campaign meant to thank everyone across Canada who does volunteer work.
One gas card is being given away every day from April 25th to 29th.
