In a little over a week, you will have a chance to throw your hat in the ring for a spot on Prescott town council.
The town says you can submit a nomination form for the upcoming municipal election starting on May 2nd.
Any Prescott residents, or anybody married to one, can run for council, as long as they have Canadian citizenship, are at least 18 years old, and aren’t banned from voting.
People who own or rent property in town are also eligible, as well as anyone married to them.
Applications are being accepted until August 19th. Election Day is October 24th.
