“Festival of Small Halls” concert series coming to our region this May

Two JUNO Award-nominated artists and several other musicians are coming to concert venues in our area next month.

The artists are coming as part of the “Festival of Small Halls”, a concert series meant to spotlight tight-knit communities and the smaller concert venues they use.

The festival has concerts scheduled in thirteen municipalities across eastern Ontario.

In our region, the two-time JUNO nominated band Great Lake Swimmers will be performing in Manotick, at the local United Church, and at St. Andrew’s Presbytarian Church Prescott.

Grenadian-Canadian artist and one-time JUNO nominee Kaia Kater will also be performing in Manotick, as well as at St. Johns United Church in Brockville.

Other shows are also scheduled in nearby municipalities like Winchester, Elgin and Athens.

The concerts are being held across three weekends in May, starting on the 13th and ending on the 29th.
