If you live in Cardinal or New Wexford, and you don’t get your water from a well, you’ll need to be careful doing your laundry for the next few weeks.
The Township of Edwardsburgh-Cardinal has announced its plans to flush the water hydrants in those areas over the course of the next seven and a half weeks.
It says the process may discolor your tap water and affect the water pressure in your home.
According to the township, this is completely normal, but the discoloration could damage your clothes when you wash them.
The flushing begins on April 11th, and will last until May 31st. The Township of Edwardsburgh-Cardinal website has a phone number you can call with any questions or concerns.
