The Town of Prescott has announced the hiring of Matthew Armstrong as Acting Treasurer. Mr. Armstrong is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Certified General Accountant with over 17 years of public sector experience. Most recently he has held the position of Chief Financial Officer and Information Officer with the Brockville General Hospital.
Mayor Brett Todd says the Town is happy to welcome Armstrong to the team; he has a wealth of public sector experience and financial expertise that will serve him well in his new role. Mr. Armstrong will be starting in this new position on July 4, 2016.
