South Grenville Rangers eliminated from NCJHL finals

The Clarence Castors have won the National Capital Junior Hockey League (NCJHL) championship.

The team eliminated our local South Grenville Rangers on Saturday with a 3-2 victory at the Ingredion Centre in Cardinal.

Despite both of the first games going to double overtime, the Castors ultimately swept the series with four wins.

The Rangers entered the playoffs after winning 16 games in the regular season, more than any other team in the league except for the Castors.

The team beat both the Morrisburg Lions and North Dundas Rockets on its way to the finals.

MyPrescottNow.com has reached out to Rangers general manager Lucas Stitt for comment.
