If you want to help out around town, there’s three new volunteer opportunities being offered by the Town of Prescott you may be interested in.
The town has announced it’s accepting applications to join the Prescott Cemetery Board and the Prescott Public Library Board.
Members of the cemetery board meet twice a year to discuss things like pricing for burials, and the library board meets monthly. Applicants need to be at least 18 and live in Prescott.
The town also says Walker House Activity Centre, a recreation facility for seniors, is looking for a volunteer to join its Board of Management. MyPrescottNow.com has reached out to Walker House to learn more about the position.
You can visit the Town of Prescott’s website to apply to join either board. Applications are being accepted until April 22nd at 4:00 PM for all three openings.
