Spencerville “Spring Market” supporting local women’s shelter May 7th

More than 30 local businesses are teaming up to support Leeds and Grenville Interval House at the Spencerville Mill in a few weeks.

Proceeds from the “Spring Market” are being split between the Interval House, a Brockville-based shelter for women escaping domestic violence, and the Spencerville Mill Foundation, a group of volunteers that help run the venue’s museum.

Two local musicians will also be performing live at the event.

The market is being organized by the Spencerville Seasonal Market team, two Edwardsburgh-Cardinal business owners that have been hosting seasonal events like this since July 2021.

Past markets have also supported other local organizations, like Prescott’s Connect Youth and the South Grenville Food Bank.

The Spencerville Seasonal Market team says it plans to announce what vendors will be at the event over the coming weeks. The market is being held on May 7th, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
