With COVID-19 safety restrictions easing in Ontario over the next few weeks, a local reserves regiment is starting an annual tradition again.
The Brockville Rifles Regimental Society is holding its 47th annual Rick Foldeak Memorial Hockey Tournament from April 8th to 10th.
Teams made up of members from 16 different reserves outfits across Ontario will be competing.
The tournament hasn’t been held since 2019, with 19 teams taking part and a Kingston-based regiment winning.
If you’re interested in seeing any of the games, they’re being played at both the Centennial Youth Arena and the Brockville Memorial Civic Centre
Opening ceremonies are happening on April 8th at 6:30 PM, at the Centennial Youth Arena in Brockville.
