Town of Prescott: free e-waste collection day happening March 21st

If you have any old phones, game consoles or computers still taking up space in your home, you’ll have a chance to get rid of them next week.

The Town of Prescott is partnering with COM2 Recycling Solutions, a Mississauga-based company that specializes in recycling electronics, to collect e-waste in the community and keep it out of landfills.

COM2 will be collecting unwanted or broken items in the parking lot of the Leo Boivin Community Centre, and you won’t need to pay anything to have your stuff recycled. Items with batteries, like laptops, will also be accepted.

The collection day is scheduled for March 21st, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. If you won’t be able to bring your e-waste that day, the Town of Prescott says you’ll have more opportunities in the future.
