$4,500+ raised for Winchester District Memorial Hospital at “Murder Mystery Auction”

Despite the tie-in “1920s Murder Mystery Night” event being cancelled, Justine Plummer says the fundraising auction was a success.

Plummer, the Winchester District Memorial Hospital’s Manager of Direct Mail and Events, says the online auction raised $4,517. The money is going towards the hospital’s Family Care Fund, which helps it replace and repair equipment.

“Thank you to our wonderful community for joining us online, thank you to our ambitious volunteers, and thank you to everyone who donated an item,” Plummer says. “We can’t wait to see everyone in person at the future 1920s Murder Mystery Night. We hope to be able to announce a new date soon.”
