If your child wants to keep doing their school work from home next year, and they attend a public school, you only have a few days left to register them.
The Upper Canada District School Board (UCDSB) is making changes to how students will learn remotely next year.
Students in grades 8 and below won’t be able to take French Immersion classes remotely, and all students working from home will be learning completely separated from their in-person classmates.
The school board says these two groups of students will stay separated, even if a spike in COVID-19 cases sends all students back home temporarily.
Students also won’t be able to switch to taking in-person classes until the start of the second semester, in February 2023.
The deadline to register is March 14th. The UCDSB website has registration details.
