Three Prescott residents have been arrested after drugs were found in a home on Boundary Street.
Grenville County OPP Provincial Constable Dave Holmes says the arrests come from a drug trafficking investigation the detachment began in the fall.
Police searched the home on January 27th, after obtaining a warrant, and found cocaine, psilocybin, MDMA, and medication. Officers also discovered a 12-gauge shotgun, ammunition, and cash in the residence.
In addition to the three people from Prescott, Holmes says three more individuals from Brockville, Augusta and Kingston were also arrested. The three people from out of town have been charged with possessing illicit substances for the purpose of trafficking, while the Prescott residents are facing charges including unauthorized possession of a firearm, careless storage of a firearm, and failing to comply with a probation order.
