South Dundas accepting volunteers for advisory committee vacancies

An opportunity is available for young people in South Dundas to have their voice heard in their local government.

The municipality has announced that it’s seeking applicants to fill a vacancy in its Youth Advisory Committee. Anyone between the ages of 15 to 25 that lives in the area can apply, but if you’re 17 or younger you’ll need permission from a parent or guardian.

The Iroquois Waterfront Advisory Committee, which works on conservation and protection projects for the town’s waterfront, is also looking to fill a vacancy. Applicants need to live in the area and be at least 18 years old.

There’s no deadline to apply for either position. Visit the Municipality of South Dundas website if you’re interested in applying.
