Outdoor rinks opening for the winter throughout North Dundas

With indoor arenas closed due to COVID-19, if you’re looking to go skating this weekend, you can visit our community’s eastern neighbor.

The Township of North Dundas says outdoor rinks in South Mountain and Inkerman are now open for the winter.

The two rinks that are open right now don’t have capacity limits, but the township says you should stay away and come back later if there are a lot of people skating when you show up.  Skaters are also being asked to maintain at least two meters of distance between each other, avoid sharing equipment, and to wear masks if they go inside the rink houses.

In a Facebook post, the township says rinks in Hallville and Morewood will also be opening in the coming weeks.
