Moose FM’s “Spirit of Giving” radiothon stuffed four OPP cruisers full with donations of groceries and toys for local families.
The event, held December 2nd at O’Reilly’s Independent Grocer from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, also collected $4,380.25 in cash donations for the Kinsmen Club of Prescott, a local organization whose “Spirit of Giving” holiday campaign provides hundreds of local families with Christmas dinner and gifts for their children..
The Kinsmen Club is still accepting donations towards the campaign. Drop-off locations for donations of non-perishable groceries, and toys for kids, are available at locations throughout the community.
