Brockville General Hospital patron helps to refurbish grand piano

Brockville General Hospital’s “Grand Old Piano” was recently refurbished. The project was spearheaded by a passionate patron, Ted Cullen, who was visiting a friend in the hospital and noticed the piano needed some good old TLC. Ted rallied the troops and recruited those who could help get the piano playing as good as new.

On May 25th, a tea was held to celebrate the renewed sound of the more than 100 year old piano. Four talented young men, Christopher, Lucas, and Andrias Arzoumian, and Mathew O’Halleran, performed for the crowd assembled in the BGH solarium. The boys’ performance was a testament to all those who made this refurbishing a reality – mission accomplished! Words of thanks were echoed by members of the hospital, the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation, and the community.
