This Saturday, June 4th, the community is invited to an open house at the Port of Johnstown. General Manager Robert Dalley says it is time to show off the work that has been done to expand and improve the community-owned facility.
Beginning at 10:00am, there will be tours of the port and activities for the whole family. The Coast Guard’s CCGS Griffon will be on site, along with a petting zoo, archery demonstrations and much more. The First Annual Port Day will celebrate marine shipping’s important contribution to sustainable community development and agricultural trade in Eastern Ontario.
