Spencerville Mill and Museum announces “Pixels and Paint” exhibit to end 2021 season

The Spencerville Mill and Museum has announced its final exhibit of the year. The museum will feature a brand new “Pixels and Paint” exhibit, featuring the work of two local artists, to close out the year. According to the museum, the exhibit will feature multiple different kinds of art, including photographs, digital art and paintings.

Chris Chrysler, a Spencerville-based artist who specializes in portraits and landscape paintings, and Barry Fawcett, a photographer and digital artist living in Edwardsburgh-Cardinal, are the two artists featured at the exhibit. “Our art is very different, both in medium and subject,” says Chrysler, “which makes for a really interesting cross-section of work to display.”

“After over a year of lockdowns,” says Fawcett, “it’s nice to dust off our work and get it up on the walls for people to see. And if sharing our work can give back to our community, all the better.”

The exhibit will be open to the public on October 16th and 17th, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Visit the Spencerville Mill and Museum website for more information.
