One woman’s bravery saved a life after a car went off the road in Edwardsburgh-Cardinal.
According to an OPP release, shortly after 7:00 in the evening on September 20th, a man driving near Legion Way in Cardinal lost control of his car before reversing into the canal. A woman fishing nearby jumped into the water, and ended up quickly pulling the man out of the sinking vehicle and to safety.
Grenville County OPP arrived on scene soon after, and found that neither the woman nor the driver were hurt. Police have thanked the woman, who they say wants to remain anonymous, for her bravery.
