The Brockville Police Service is recruiting Community Volunteers. These police assistants will have a police vehicle, clearly marked as belonging to the volunteer program. Volunteers will also have a uniform, clearly indicating they are with the Brockville Police Community Volunteers, so there will be no confusion. These people will be representing not just the Brockville Police, but also the community.
Applicants don’t necessarily need to have an interest in being a police officer, but they definitely need an interest in giving of their time to the community. If you are interested in helping out at community festivals and events as part of the police force, apply before June 15th to Constable Mark Heffernan.
