The Spencerville Mill and Museum is organizing a final celebration of local creativity during the pandemic. The museum is closing its “Creativity Through Crisis: Works From A Global Pandemic” exhibit in October.
The exhibit, which features works from local artists and writers, has been open daily since July. The closing celebration for the exhibit will feature a People’s Choice Award, and the creation of a “COVID time capsule”, to reflect the past year and a half’s impact on the community.
The exhibit closes on October 3rd, with the celebration beginning at noon and lasting until 2:00 pm. Anyone who wants to see the exhibit before it closes can go every day, between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm. Admission is free.
