Town of Prescott accepting nominations for Heroes of COVID-19 Awards

With the fourth wave of the COVID-19 pandemic underway, the Town of Prescott is looking to honor the work people in the community have done over the past 18 months.

The Town is now accepting nominations for its 2021 Heroes of COVID-19 awards. The awards are meant to honor people and organizations who have committed to helping the community throughout the ongoing pandemic, either by contributing to the town broadly, or focusing on a specific cause.

Any people nominating someone for an award have been asked to provide specific examples of their contributions over the past 18 months, and are encouraged to include letters of recommendation with their nomination forms. Nominees don’t need to live in Prescott, but their nomination should focus on work they’ve done in the town.

The Town is accepting nominations until October 8th. The awards will be presented at a ceremony hosted by Mayor Brett Todd and the rest of the town council in November. Visit the township website for more information, and the nomination form.
