Local Law Enforcement Torch Ride for Special Olympics June 4th

Grenville County OPP- Prescott Detachment will be participating in the Kingston and the Islands Law Enforcement Torch Ride for the Special Olympics this Saturday, June 4th. This is a motorcycle ride open to anyone beginning at the Kingston Police Station, with a stop at Fort Wellington in Prescott before riding back to Kingston through the 1000 Islands where there will be more fundraising activities.

The Prescott Detachment will be hosting a fundraising BBQ for the Brockville and Area Special Olympians at Fort Wellington between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. There will be raffle tickets sold to fire a canon, Torch Ride and Torch Run t-shirts for sale and the opportunity to come see the motorcycles participating. The public is welcome to participate in the ride, create their own ride with a stop at Fort Wellington, or just come to Fort Wellington and be part of the festivities.  For more information about the ride and to download the application form, visit www.torchrideontario.com/wp/index.php/kingston-the-islands/.
