Officers of the Leeds Detachment of the OPP are continuing an investigation resulting in two local siblingsĀ being charged with stunt driving.
On May 23rd around 9:30pm police stopped an 18-year-old woman from Gananoque on the Thousand Island Parkway. She was travelling at 66 kph over the speed limit. About 20 minutes later her 20-year-old brother was stopped for stunt driving on County Road 2, where his tires lost traction.
Both were arrested and charged and scheduled to appear in court at a later date. Both of their vehicles were towed and impounded for 7 days.
