Samantha Jodoin-Miller Appointed Prescott’s New Manager Of Community Services

Samantha Joudoin-Miller has been appointed to be the next Manager of Community Services.

Joudoin-Miller has years of marketing and management experience through her work at the Fulford Academy in Brockville, and she brings lots of strength in developing relationships and networking.

She says she’s thrilled to get the opportunity to work in the town where she grew up.

“I’m going to use my skill sets to really develop strong relationships with volunteers and community organizations, and get people excited about what Prescott has to offer, and what it has to celebrate,” Joudoin-Miller said.

In her new role, she’ll be leading recreational and leisure services, as well as planning special events.

Joudoin-Miller says her first priority is to establish the Prescott Museum and Visitor’s Centre on King Street.

She will also be actively advocating for the town’s recreation facilities such as the Sandra S. Lawn Harbour & Marina, Centennial Pool, Walker House Adult Recreation Centre, and Prescott Public Library.

Joudoin-Miller says she just wants residents to know that they can use her as a resource for all things recreational.

“Whether you’re looking to volunteer, or organizations looking to get started, or people who need facility space to use, I hope they will connect with me so we can start those conversations,” she said.
