Prescott Town Council meets tonight to discuss planning fees for heritage buildings as well as a donation to the Red Cross for Fort McMurray, and the 2016 Volunteer of the Year Award. Council will vote on the appointment of a Municipal By-law Officer, and a Community Emergency Management Coordinator.
Council will also look at authorizing the CAO and engineers to work with the Township of Edwardsburgh/Cardinal in the evaluation of the Prescott Water Plant as an alternative to the construction of a new plant by the Township. The meeting is open to the public and it begins at 6:00pm in council chambers on Dibble Street.
