MP Gord Brown has introduced a new bill that will make it more convenient for US boaters to cross over into Canadian waters. Currently, Americans have to call in to customs every time they enter our territory. This bill will give them the same rights that Canadians have in US waters. No reporting will be necessary unless the boater plans to stop or anchor in Canada.
