It was a night filled with dancing, dinner and more than little generosity. On Saturday night parents, staff & friends of St Lawrence Academy gathered at Brockville’s Aquatarium for the annual Spring Fling Gala, which is SLA’s biggest fundraiser & handles many of the costs to help close out each year and ring in the next.
The biggest bid of the night went to and for a new school bus as board member Fraser Lasinger stood to explain the new campaign, dubbed 5-for-50.
They’re looking for 100 people to step up and donate $500 towards the new bus and within minutes, over 25% of those donors had been found.
