The Town of Prescott has opened a municipal compost site.
The site will accept grass clippings, sods, plant remains, wood chippings, as well as branches and brush. The site is located at the north end of Sophia Street and is open from 10 am till 2 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It will also be open 8 AM to 4 PM on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the Town is asking residents how they felt snow removal went this past season. They have launched a survey, and are looking for feedback on their winter maintenance operation. They say that residents’ answers will help with future planning. People have until April 22nd to submit their answers. The survey can be found here.
