The Port of Johnstown is ready to show off their improvements, with a public open house. It happens Saturday, June 4th from 10am to 4pm.
Local dignitaries will be on hand to make speeches and opening remarks at 11. There will be narrated tours, the Canadian Coast Guard Vessel Griffon, farm equipment and trucks, a children’s activity centre, petting zoo and free community BBQ with live entertainment.
The Port has benefited from recent government grants, allowing the expansion of their storage and improvements to their facilities.
