Grenville County OPP have charged a Prescott woman with fraud following a lengthy investigation. On March 7th, police were contacted about money that was missing from the Leeds and Grenville Insurance Brokers Association, a non-profit organization. Investigators discovered that between May 2012 and December 2015, more than $50,000 had been transferred out of the brokerage accounts and into a private account.
On May 6th, the former treasurer of the organization, a 46-year-old woman, was charged with Fraud over $5,000 and making a forged document.
