Chinese education officials visit Upper Canada District School Board

As part of their ongoing international partnership, the Upper Canada District School Board hosted a delegation from China last week. Representatives from the Chinese Association of Private Education came to learn more about how things are done in Canada, and to look at future opportunities to work together.

Senior UCDSB officials gave presentations to their guests on many board initiatives for student success including eLearning, student engagement and English as a Second Language. The visit included a tour of Gananoque Secondary School so the visitors could see how our schools operate. The UCDSB hosts over 500 international students from China and other countries, each year.
