Province to Invest $3.9 Million in Leeds-Grenville Infastructure

Money is being made available in the area for infrastructure.

The government of Ontario has released $3.9 Million in funding for Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands – Rideau Lakes riding. The money will be used for building and repairing roads, bridges, water and wastewater facilities. The province says this will help address infrastructure needs and support local economic growth.

Among the recipients:

-$299,000 will be going to North Grenville
-$75,000 to Augusta Township
-$191,000 to Edwardsburg-Cardinal
-$69,000 to Merrickville-Wolford
-$416,000 to City of Brockville

The United Counties will also b getting $1.6 Million in the deal.

The money was made available by the Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund, which provides funding for communities under 100,000 people.
