PSW students from across the region will show off their skills in a competition today in Brockville. The Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario is hosting the Personal Support Worker Health Care Expo. At the event, members of the health care field will be available to provide info on potential careers and employment opportunities.
The CDSBEO PSW Program provides an opportunity for students to become certified Personal Support Workers through the completion of necessary certifications and training through an accelerated program, which can be catered to individual student needs. Upon completion, students graduate with qualifications equal or superior to, those taking a program at a career or community college, at a fraction of the cost.
