A Morrisburg couple is ringing in the New Year with a newborn baby.
On Tuesday, the Winchester District Memorial Hospital announced that Shelby Fraser-Clouthier and Josh Fawcett had given birth to little Dallas Fawcett, the first baby born at the hospital in 2021.
Dallas was born at 5:41 p.m. on January 1st, weighing 6 pounds, and 8 ounces.
“I could not have done it without such an incredible team – every nurse, Dr. Deeb and Ashley, my midwife,” Shelby said. “Thank you more than I can ever express!”

Shelby adds that Dallas is lucky to have a ten-year old sister named Regan who’s been readying herself for the big-sister role.
“She’s such a great help,” Shelby said. “Everything is awesome.”
