The Leeds Grenville District Health Unit has declared a COVID-19 Outbreak in Sherwood Park Manor in Brockville.
The Health unit says one person tested positive for COVID-19, and they have now been isolated to their room. Staff at the manor says that infection control measures have been implemented and the health unit is monitoring the situation. Medical officer of health for the Unit Dr. Paula Stewart says that the outbreak serves as a reminder to the community to continue to be Covid-smart.
The administrator of Sherwood Park Manor Alfred O’Rourke says that this is a concerning time for the community and families, and the manor will keep them informed.
