An investigation into a fatal accident last year has resulted in charges.
On June 10th, 2019, OPP responded to a four-vehicle collision on the 401 near Johnstown, where a tractor-trailer collided with a box truck and two other vehicles. Now OPP says they have arrested the driver of the tractor-trailer. The 25-year-old from Montreal has been charged with one count of Criminal Negligence causing death and two counts of criminal negligence causing bodily harm. The accused was held for a bail hearing in the Court of Justice in Brockville.
