Brockville COVID-19 Assessment Centre transitioning to online appointment booking

An online appointment booking system will be coming to the Brockville COVID-19 Assessment Centre.

The Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit says that it will take some time to get the system up and running. Right now people that meet the new COVID-19 Testing Eligibility Criteria can self-present to the centre to confirm eligibility for testing and receive an appointment time. The hours of operation at the centre are Monday to Friday from 10:00am to 5:30pm and on weekends from 10:00am to 2:30pm.

The health unit says people do not need to call ahead as they anticipate right now they can accommodate same day appointments.

The new COVID-19 Testing Eligibility Criteria includes people who:

  • Have been exposed to a confirmed case of the virus, as informed by your public health unit or exposure notification through the COVID Alert app
  • Are a resident or work in a setting that has a COVID-19 outbreak, as identified and informed by your local public health unit
  • Are eligible for testing as part of a targeted testing initiative directed by the Ministry of Health or the Ministry of Long-Term Care.

The centre is at the Brockville Memorial Centre and is a partnership between local Family Health Teams, the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit, and the Brockville General Hospital.

Updates from the centre can be found on the health unit’s social media.
