Health unit saying some students and staff now being identified as high risk to exposure of COVID-19 at Holy Cross

The Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit is saying some students and staff are now being identified as high risk to exposure of COVID-19.

In a Facebook post, the health unit says earlier this week parents and teachers at Holy Cross School in Kemptville received letters concerning possible exposure to COVID-19.

“Based on the initial investigation, all students and staff were assigned a level of risk. As the investigation has evolved and more information has become available, some students and staff that were initially identified as low risk are now being identified as high risk.”

Staff, parents and guardians of students whose level of risk has changed has been in contact with the health unit to provide updated guidance.
