The Town of Prescott is pleased to announce the hiring of Katie Allard as Tourism & Recreation Coordinator reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer. Ms. Allard has worked with neighbouring municipality Edwardsburgh-Cardinal seasonally for 10 years, coordinating the recreation programming for the past six. She is a familiar face to many, having been involved with several community groups and projects in Prescott.
In this new position, Ms. Allard will provide a coordination and advisory service that promotes tourism within the Town in collaboration with local businesses, community groups, other stakeholders, neighbouring municipalities, and other levels of government. She will also provide a coordination and advisory service that facilitates and promotes the effective utilization of the town’s parks and facilities for sport and recreation activities. Â
