September motorcycle ride to raise money for Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind

The Guide Dog Motorcycle Ride will be happening on Sunday, September 13th to raise money for Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind.

The ride started in 1988 and is Ottawa’s longest running annual motorcycle ride.

On the day of the ride, people can stop by Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind at 4120 Rideau Valley Drive North in Manotick to register anytime between 8:00am and 11:00am and then head out for the ride.  Cash, credit and debit are accepted on-site.  People can also register and pay in advance by calling 613-692-7777 and then depart on the ride from home.

The entry fee for the ride is $20 and participants could win a prize.  Organizers say the route is 224 kilometres through Eastern Ontario.
