Local OSPCA manager set to ride over 200 kilometres for Sweat for Pets campaign

The manager of the Ontario SPCA Leeds & Grenville Animal Centre is aiming to ride over 200 kilometres next week for the Sweat for Pets Campaign.

This is Marianne Carlyle’s third bike ride of the summer for the campaign. Carlyle will be leaving Brockville on Tuesday, August 25th at 5:30 am and heads to the Ontario SPCA Renfrew County Animal Centre in Pembroke.

Carlyle has also rode to the animal centres in Cornwall and Napanee this summer. She anticipates the ride on Tuesday will be 11 hours or 12 at the most.

Carlyle says pledges are still welcome and needed for the campaign and can be made here.
