Lanark, Leeds and Grenville Addictions and Mental Health (LLGAMH) is looking to have a new board of directors leading the way.
LLGAMH cares for over 5,000 clients each year with easy access to support that clients living with addictions and mental health challenges need through their “‘One Door – One Number – One Click” philosophy.
LLGAMH says over the past few months they have focused on developing a sustainable plan to strengthen the agency and better support clients and to continue this, they are recruiting a new Board of Directors.
“As a governance Board, these committed volunteers will be responsible for key areas such as strategic planning, quality, CEO oversight and financial stewardship.”
LLGAMH Supervisor Eric Hanna says they want to ensure that the Board is representative of all of the communities across Lanark, Leeds and Grenville and their unique health care needs.
“We also want to be sure that the Board has the capacity to provide insight, oversight and foresight into the complexities of providing services in an integrated healthcare system.”
Hanna also says they are looking for people who want to make a real difference in their community and want to help shape mental health and addictions care.
Applications are accepted until July 31st, more information can be found on LLGAMH’s website here.
