Leeds-Grenville “Sweat for Pets” hopes to keep people active while raising money for animals

With the warm weather here, a new campaign to keep people of all ages active is being put up by the Leeds-Grenville SPCA.
Sweat for Pets is a virtual fundraising campaign that hopes to get people of all ages to stay active with weekly challenges. The program involves at-home weekly challenges that will be happening all summer long. Starting June 22nd, the Leeds Grenville Animal Center will kick off 10 challenges over 10 weeks to raise funds to care for animals in need.
The SPCA says that challenges can be done with or without pets, and are suitable for all ages and all fitness levels. They say you can modify the challenge to match your interests or create your own altogether. They say that if you have a pet or just love animals, the SPCA wants people to come together to stay active and participate in this fundraiser to give animals a second chance.
