On Monday, Celebrate Ontario announced they will distribute almost $185,000 in funding to local festivals. The event to receive the biggest piece of the pie is the 2nd Annual Kemptville Live Music Festival, which will receive over $63,000.
Tall Ships Brockville, which happens in September, has received $33,412. Other local recipients include RibFest, the Spencerville Stampede and the 1000 Islands Regatta and Festival. The province is investing $15.3 million to support 200 festivals and events across the province.
