A Quebec man will be returning to the area for a court appearance after being caught with drugs in South Dundas on the weekend. Just after 2:30 in the afternoon on Sunday, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry OPP responded to a vehicle fire on the 401. The fire was extinguished without incident.
A check on the driver revealed he was going against several conditions set after a previous incident, and he was carrying drugs. He was arrested and charged with possession of pills and cocaine and failure to comply with recognizance. He was held in custody pending a bail appearance.
