The Town of Prescott will be raising the Pride flag again this year.
The flag is scheduled to go up on June 15th.
Mayor Brett Todd says this year there will be a new flagpole installed at Town Hall to accommodate groups, etc. and give them a dedicated place to display flags.
CAO Matthew Armstrong says the new flagpole will be installed either this week or next.

Todd says there will be a live stream for the flag raising ceremony and that will be announced after a time is set with staff. He also says a mayor’s proclamation will follow.
Armstrong says the Pride crosswalk will be repainted this week weather depending. Todd calls the tire track vandalism still happening there awfully frustrating and sad.
